CORE_DUMP Software Program Abnormally Terminated.

You will have a core file were the program terminated; do a find for core and then look for the core file with the date and timestamp in the error report. Then on the core file run:

lquerypv -h /path_to_core_file 6b0 64 - which will give the application or program that caused the core file

and:

strings /path_to_core_file | grep “_=” - which will give the exact binary or shell script that caused the core.

If you have source code then you can run dbx against the core and source to determine where it was caused, or contact the vendor and they can use the core to track down the cause of the termination.
