ERROR: Repair Operation Failed on LAN IP

I am getting the following error when trying to repair the 0.0.0.0 IP address on my Local Area Connection. The settings are for DHCP for Ip, and DNS and Default Gateway are all automatically assigned.

Error: Repair operation failed renewing the IP address, refreshing all DHCP leases, and re-registering DNS names

I was told it may have something to do with the DHCP client and DNS client areas of Win XP. Does anyone have any screen shots of those areas and settings, or know where I can get them? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This is a known issue with XP.
