Error registering servers in Analysis Services

Can anyone help?

I keep getting an error message registering my server. On connection I get the error

"Arguments are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in conflict with one another"

I have installed SQL2K Sp2 and Analysis service SP2 but to no avail.

Any pointers would be well received
