I am trying to export from access to oracle. Using odbc I get the following error:
"Record is too large."
I found the solution at the bottom of this thread but, this was not helpful. Any idea why this error happens on some machines? is it the driver difference?
Solution: Disable ExtendedANSISQL in the ODBC Administrator and then select the table in the application (table view). The problem is that the current field definitons could potentially result in a record that exceeds Access' storage capabilities per record. For example, there are many text fields with their size set at 255. Reduce the number of fields and/or field sizes. Or consider storing some of the fields in another table. (This is a limitation of Access.)
