Error "Unable to open path" When opening pdfs

For some reason one of my users computers gets an error when opening a pdf or writing to one.
"Unable to open path" It is on the harddrive not the network.
I re-installed 4.0 but to no avail.
Its not the document because it opens on others.

Any ideas.
