I am trying to program a DID on a already existed phone and I get the error "Function not allowed on private CO line." when trying to program. First, what does that error mean and can this be changed so I can use the 8855 did?

Thanks

At one time 8855 must have been assigned as a Private line on a phone. Best thing to do is do an ltm in ld 21 and see if you can find the trunk. It should be obvious because it is probably a trunk all by itself.

Do a DNB on 8855 and you may find it that way

Yea I printed that out, sorry should have read your post more closely, however 8855 does not appear anywhere in that.

Found it...What does this mean? I can I change that to a different PRDN?

8855 wont show up in LD 21 LTM, you should be looking for a lone trunk in a route all by itself. Then you will need to print a tnb on that trunk and see what the PRDN is

I should be able to change that, right? I have no idea where that would go.

My guess is that it's old programming. You will however need to find what phone it appears on. I don't think it will let you out the trunk until you remove it off of the phone. This is a copper trunk that has a Private appearance on one or more phones.
