Error: "Failed to open document.........Its location has changed......

I made an alteration to a Cognos Impromptu report and then saved it and now when I try to open it I get this message:

"Failed to open document OTIF (summary and charts).imr. Its location has changed. Please check the full path of this file."

Impromptu loads the catalog OK, but bombs out with this message and won't open the report.

The path looks fine, so does anyone have any ideas?

I've managed to fix this myself and it's probably worth noting for others. I was using Impromptu Administrator v5 and I copied and pasted a picture into my report from a Word XP document. Then I saved it.

After this, I couldn't open the report at all, so I got a copy from my backup and this time I copied the picture into MS Paint, saved it as a BMP and inserted it as a picture file into the report. The report worked OK then.

I guess it was some kind of OLE issue because it is a relatively old version of Impromptu.

It's still a glitch in Imp 7.0 as I did exactly the same thing yesterday - taking an OLE pic from an Impromptu template and pasting in to a report. Like you, I had to revert to a backup.
