I am attempting to publish a report over the intranet. Using the RDC on an ASP page a la the Xtreme example shipped w/ Crystal. Works fine for .RPTs. But when I attempt to call a .RPT which has an associated .QRY file, the viewer craps out w. message "Crystal Report Viewer : User Session has expired." And then all I get is a blank report placeholder. Anyone ever run into this?

Hi there !

I had the same problem directly with rpts (now with QRY associated). Some times it worked and sometimes I've got the session user expired (and sometimes Exception error !)

I don't know if that's could be the same problem but....

my problem was in some environments the DTC doesn't work properly... I put the objects inside the Interdev and the result was that. However, when I programmed it manually (used the samples provided on Seagate's site) I did never get this error again.

Hope this help

PS - The file of the samples is aspxmps8.exe and can be downloaded directly from the site

I am trying to create an ASP page that calls a Crystal Report and was looking through posts on this site.

I tried to find the aspxmps8.exe sample file on Crystal Decisions, but with no luck.

Can someone please post the URL to the file?

TIA
