Ok, well, almost bashes head in monitor...

When I try to print from PM 6.5, I click print on print dialog box and then I can see that the program is trying to send the page to the printer - the status box shows up at the top of the screen, however, I receive the the general error, "An Error occurred to keep working click ignore, and save your document or click cancel. You will lose any information in the current document that is not saved... blah blah blah." but I can't click ignore, only cancel. It basically crashes my pagemaker and I have to restart the program.

I am using Windows 98 with the HP Laser Jet 6MP. Loaded the driver from the manufacturer's cd.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

How much RAM, and how much free HD space do you have? How many fonts are installed (this is important). Can youprint to other printers? Can other apps print to this printer?

First things I recommend in cases like this is the generic do a scandisk and defrag. Reduce active fonts to less than 150 using a font management program. Go to HP's site and d/l & install the latest driver for your printer.

Let us know how it goes... When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
