Hello and thanx for taking time to read this... [thumbsup2]

When a User receives an email with an Acrobat attachment and try’s to sent it to a HP DeskJet 990Cxi is comes up with the following error message : Could not start print job.
I have no knowledge of Acrobat so I was wondering if this error message has any thing to do with the printer or Acrobat it’s self?

Any help would be grateful.

Thanx cla1re [ponytails2]

Is the acrobat file PDF format(.pdf)? Is it printable from the computer that is sending it?

Yes to both of your questions...

That's really weird. I've not heard of any instances where a certain printer can't print a PDF File. Maybe this is an instance however. I recommend the user try to open the file using reader and sending it to a different printer to see of the same error message occurs. If it doesn't, then it would be a problem between the printer and that file type. If not, it would be a problem with the file being mailed or a problem on that users machine. If the user doesn't directly have another printer to try this, then urge the user to open the file and try a different printer at a different location. Friends house, anywhere. Hope I could help.

HELLO...

the even weirder thing is that it does print to other printers in their office...

I still have no idea what it could be :) but thank you ever so much for your help...
