After the installation of a certain demo software I tried to run it (with the cd in the cdrom as is necessary) and I got the following error: "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR1." This machine is running Win2000pro and the hardware is Dell.

This is also occurring on a Dell that went through a system restore and now sees the CDRW as drive C: while the harddrive is seen as drive F: Because this is XP-Home there is no way to manage the drive assignments within XP (Dohhhhh!!) The error message only comes up under certain circumstances, but is a constant problem.

ANYONE have any idea as to why this happens and why the error?
