help I'm  trying to get mom's 486 formated after serious crash I used my boot disk and now when I try to load the cd-rom to install windows I get this message and it won't load the cd-rom I've never heard of this error can anyone help

Upon boot-up enter into your computer's Bios setup and set factory defaults. The key sequence can vary...usually it is Del or F10...it may even prompt you with it.<br><br>Also, is that the exact error message you are getting? Is the erro occurring when trying to load the Cdrom &quot;driver&quot; or when trying to run the Windows setup?
