Error: Operation Must use an updateable query 1

I have an access application with linked server tables. When I open I get and error and not able to edit any records. Any suggestions would be great. The error as follows:
Operation must use an updateable query.

Try deleting the linked table and re-linking. Make sure you select a unique record identifier
