Error Opening Company

I get this error :

Missing Parameters in Call to Connect DLL.

Server = Design
Database=data_20
LockDB=msllockdb
User=Supervisor

We are on 7.6.300b SQL What i did was use the Setup Util and created a new database on a different sql server. On that sql server named Design i only have data_20 database only. All other Macola related databases including our main one is on a server called SQL. How do i fix it so i can login to that database? I even tried to restore old data into that company from our backup still same error.

There are two stored procedures that Macola creates in the MASTER database. sp_MacMSSLockEraser and sp_MSLOpenTableEraser. You could try and duplicate those on your 2nd SQL server. Another question is are the servers in the same domain.

Macola uses the SQL users like SUPERVISOR_SQL to connect to the databases. Those users may have to be duplicated on the 2nd server. Macola however copys and then encrypts the password stored in the SQL user so you coudn't type it in manually.

Mainly, it's using the SCREENS and PWE databases and the _SQL users to get the necessary rights to access the databases. That information would have to be on the 2nd server as well.

Overall, I don't see this working.
