Error on Upfront web page

We recently installed the new version of Cognos being Cognos 7 version 2 or Cognos 7.1.

Now when we go to Upfront Cognos, we log in and then the main Cognos Upfront theme is shown. It looks quite normal, except that the browser says that there is an error on the page:

We can not find any solution in the knowledgebase. We need to solve this asap, because we should start upgrading our production server right now. Because of this error we do not know what to do and can not switch between backup and production. Please respond asap. Best regards and thank you in advance,

I have seen this happen when the virtual directories are still pointing to the old Series 7 directories (cer2) instead of the new cer3 directories. Also, you can try disbaling script debugging in IE by modifying your internet options.

When in doubt, a clean uninstall (remove the webcontent folder if left behind) and then a reinstall of the gateway files maybe ...
