Error on update xls document in SPS 2001 with client components

Hi, I have encountered a problem using client components of MS Sharepoint Portal (SPS) with MS Excel.

Installing this components (i.e. the pkmcdo.dll) I can use MS Excel to open directly from SPS my document, extract it, modify it and check-in it.
But in some client machine, when I try to check-in the doc I receive an error message like:

The error is shown in the form opened from Excel (it is the file pubform.asp on SPS, placed in

http://<server>/<working-area>/system/forms).

Can anybody help me to remove the error?
