I'm working on a multi-user database with a launch program that copies the FE from a network drive onto the user's harddrive prior to opening. I've used this method many times successfully.
Current Issue: Database will reside on a shared network drive but we do not want the user mapped to the drive. I've tried using UNC links to the tables, but receive an error stating the the file cannot be opened as it is already opened exclusively by another user or permission is needed.
I've tried researching this issue to no avail. Any solutions? Should I try mapping the drive while in use?
