I am working in Access 2000. I created a form and now when I try to open the form I receive the following error:

You do not have exclusive access to the database at this time. If you proceed to make changes, you may not be able to save them later.

I have openned the database exclusively and also tried copying the database to a local directory (instead of the network).

Any advice?

Thanks

it would be easier if you showed us the code you are using.

What did onoe mind reader say to another?

You are fine. How am I?

One thing I have done is deleted the record locking table that access creates automatically - (the .mde file in the same directory with the same name)

close the database.
delete the .mde file
re-open database

NB Only tried this in Acc97, and if you lose your data it osnt my fault - make a backup!!!
