We are running Windows Server 2003. I recently set up a new user on the network and it was working fine. Yesterday she changed the time on her computer and now she can't logon. This is the error:

the current time on this computer and the current time on the network are different

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

As long as the times are the same, there shouldn't be an issue? Do I take it your times ARE different? I so why would you want them like this?

Kerberos requires time to be in sync. Disable the users abilty to change time settings via gpo. You can log in locally to the laptop and change the time then set the user rights so they can't do that

I have this same problem but on my Citrix server. I can't see where anyone would've changed the time. I can't login to the system at all. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

logon locally on the user's pc as administrator and change it offline?
