Error on cancel a picklist prompt

Hi,

Does anyone know why I got an error message when I click Cancel on a picklist prompt? The error message is as follows,

****ERROR****
An error has occurred during the execution of the report picklist prompt query. Please check your picklist report.

I pulled out the picklist report and it seems to work fine. Does anyone have any insight to this? I have tried on another report without providing any prompt values (i.e. by clicking Cancel button), but just got a blank row, not a error message as such.

How does your prompt look like? and what kind of a report and datatype does your report contain? I need more information first...

Hi Martijn,

My prompts are cascading prompts. It first contains 2 picklists of university and fiscal year. From there users will get a second prompt to pick buildings for the selected universities and fiscal years. All prompts are string datatype. I simply found this weird as compared to other prompts that I have cancelled but received no error message as such.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
