Error on adding criteria to query 1

having attached access to dbase files i have written a query which links tables and this works but as soon as I put filter criteria in and try to operate the query it reports error 9986.

I am on a Novel network and the same query on another pc in a different part of the organisation works ok.

Is is a slow network error or is the setup of my pc or my access at fault?

The error from Access reports " Unexpected error from external database driver (9986)"

On choosing help the following is displayed: &quot; Unexpected error from external database driver <error number> (error 3275) The specified database driver returned an error. This error can be caused by performing an operation not supported on this type of external database&quot;

However if I use a different PC on a different part of the network the Query works ok

Hmmmm...

Check your DB drivers on this PC. Maybe needed driver isn't installed...?
