Macola Progression 7.7.0.0 running on a mssql 2000 server with ICR version 11

When running a "pre-post invoice list" at the same Invoice number each time I get an error pop-up "System Error: File OECCCTL.BTR is not open" if I select OK I get a pop-up window titled Console:VBMAC.EXE that says STOP RUN encountered.

Anyone have any suggestions.
btw the OECCCTL_SQL file does exist

Jere,

If you open up OE setup, there is a button called "additional oe setup". Click it ans you are in the oecctlfil_sql table. Then just tab thru it and save, there is really nothing to enter unless you own the Credit Card processing module.

If you cannot get into this screen, just initialize the file from system manager.

Then I will bet your error goes away.

"What version of URGENT!!! are you using?

Thanks I had already done that.
I solved the problem and am posting the solution here in case anyone else runs into this error.

The "pre-post invoice list" kept stopping on the same order number each time. I checked the tables and found that the oeordhdr table had a link from that order number to the oecshfil because cash was received, however there was no entry in the oecshfil for that order. I re_edited and re-printed that order which created the missing entry in oecshfil and then posting worked without an error.
