when I add a bitmap (to capture a client signature) I get the error

"Error! Objects cannot be created from editing field codes."

This error happens after I save the document and re-open it.

You didn't specify which version of Word you are using.

Two Options to try:

1. Delete the last paragraph Mark. Save the document and see if the problem is gone. If it works, then you had corruption in the document.

2. Go to Word Options. Under Dislay; under print options, uncheck "Update Fields before Printing"
