I have a small home network with Win XP Pro PC and Win XP Home Edition PC. The Win XP Home Edition PC has an external hard connected via a USB port. When I try to map a network drive from the XP Pro to that external hard drive I receive an error message "not enough server storage is available to process this command". I have searched for an answer but the fixes (editing the lanmanserver parameters in HKey_Local_Machine) apply to a Win NT server.
I can map a network drive to the C drive on the Win XP Home Edition PC
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
thank you
