Error: Not all field links in same index expression

I am working on an existing report and trying to add another table. When I try to do the linking to an already exisiting table, I get these messages on a couple of attempted field-links: "Invalid file link. Not all field links in same index expression." This is particularly strange, as a couple of months ago, I linked this same table up (to the same table which I am attempting to link it, now) and had no problems at all.

These are Lawson tables, if that is of any help in getting someone to respond to my plea.

Any ideas on what I can do or look at? This completely stumped me.
