error moving user 1

Hi all,

I am receiving an error message trying to move a mailbox from one store to another. Can some someone please help?

What's the exact error messge you got?

"This mailbox exceeded the maximum number of corrupted items specified for this move mailbox operation"

Sometimes the actual message header appears with this error. I have gone into the users mailbox and deleted the bad message. But only if it is already in their Deleted Items folder. Otherwise, I send a message to the user about the message in question.
I don't think there is anything you can do until the bad messages are out of the mailbox.

One workaround for this is to export all emails/contacts to PST file, delete the old mailbox and re-create it. Import all emails back then....
