act premium for workgroups 2007 (up to date), connectit for linking into sage and quoteworks.
when logging into act 2 error messages come up. wrong version and cannot find data in cache or cache path. this has happened in tghe last few days.
anyone have any idea's whats causing it and what to do to get rid of the errors. act seems to be working fine when you get in.

Can you be more specific about the error messages? The exact wording is necessary as sometimes there are similar errors with slightly different wording that have different causes and require different fixes.

Also, when you say "up to date", do you also have Hotfix1?

act! premium for workgroups 2007 update 901 and the hotfix are installed. i log in it starts loading the bits in the background.
first error headed error - Cannot find data in Data paths
2nd error headed error - Wrong version.
press ok for both and it goes into the database ok.

You give the headers of the error... is there any error message text?

Was anything done to the system around the time it happened?

Can you have a look at the Windows Error log to see if there is an error message there?
