Error messages saving edited files

We have a user in excel that has files she uses everyday....Since yesterday, she has been receiving messages that the file may have been moved, deleted, etc...when we know that's not true. They are on her local box and we can open it fine......but when make revisions and go to save, the error message pops up. Then we click, OK....next message says the file was saved, but that memory is low and to close the program.....

Any idea??

Does the machine have low free disk space, or quotas in place that would mean the effective free space is very little?
