terminating thread due to a stack overflow problem..a v&d, possibly recently installed, has consumed to much stack space. increase the settings of 'minSPs' in system.ini or remove recently installed v&d's. there are currently 7 SPs allocated

1.what is a v&d ?
2.what is stack space ?
3.how do i fix this problem ?
4.what is minSPs ?

thanks in advance....

I think you mean vXd, which is a virtual device driver.
Stack space is the amount of RAM a driver needs to allocate to properly run a device (it's more complicated than that, but you don't really need to know more).
Open "system.ini" in notepad.
In the [386Enh] section, look for a line that says: "minSPs=x" with x being a number. Increase that number by a couple.
If you DON'T have that line, add it, and make it thus: minSPs=10
Save it as "system.ini" including the quotes!, and restart. Cheers,
Jim
