In full-text indexing, if you use a statement such as CONTAINS where the values sought are only "noise words", you would get this error message.
From BOL:
[tab]To prevent the full-text index from becoming bloated with words that do not help the search, extraneous (noise) words such as a, and, is, or the are ignored.
