obtain permission. I have no idea what caused this...
I have a copy of Photoshop on my computer, not a download, not the trial, an actual bougth copy.
I was in the middle of coloring an image when all of a sudden my brush stopped painting. The 'marching ant' line around the area I have selected is still moving, and the drop-down menues in the top still work, but none of my tools, pallets, ect, work. It just dings at me.

It won't let me save it in .PSD format, but it will let me go though save for web and save it as a .JPG. But the image is unfinished and I could really use the layers... does anyone have any idea how to fix this, and what caused it, so I can prevent it in the future?

is this on win2000 or NT?
if so then log in as Administrator and re-install PS.
all the best!
