I have developed a Document Library in WSS and when we open a document in Word 2003 we can see the tasks from the task list in Sharepoint. The problem we have is that we cannot add a new task from Word 2003. We get the following error message.
"You cannot add a new item or modify an existing one because this list has been customized. Contact a workspace administrator for more information. To add a new item to this list, view the workspace in your Web browser and follow links to add the new item."
I need a way to have this Shared Workspace Task pane open the Customize Task list so we can add a new task with the custom fields.
Is this possible. We are all running XP Pro on our PC'S.
