Error Message when using external style sheet

Hi,

I wondered if anyone can tell me why I get this error message when using external style sheets

File D:\paulnet\test\NewSite.asp (Back to Index) 
Error Found 1 errors in external css files
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 
line 130 <link href="../Styles/PaulStyles.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

I cannot understand what is wrong with it, I get it on all the pages i am using. This is the directory structure I am using

PaulNet = root
then folders underneath

Styles
Test
Images
etc

What is generating the error?

If that line is IN your external stylesheet then it shouldn't be. You can't put HTML in a CSS file.

Hi Foamcow,

Sorry I did not explain properly, I see this error when i do "Check Target Browser" in Dreamweaver 2004.

in your CSS file? If so, do as Foamcow suggests and remove it!
