Error message when starting Voicemail configuration detials not starte

We have been struggling to get the Modular Mesaging release 3 servers up and running. When the mmdct file is successfully loaded and the voicemail configuration acivated to complete the configuration we get the following error message:

1) The server cannot be started because the services have not started. (This is a very high level message)

When the application and system files checked the modular message system code shows 1241 (Active)

Can anyone who has experienced this before help?

Are the ports on the MAS up and running? what is the status of your diallogic cards?

I have not seen this on any system but if you look in the mon under services does it show all services running or do some show disabled?

The dialogic cards and ports are active and running.

As far as what I can see the voicemail system is running as it shows the code "1241"

Further to this, we have setup the voicemail and are able to connect to the voicemail configuration but we are now sitting with an error when trying to access the vmdom in the voicemail system configuration. The error reads as follows:

1)Failed to retrieve list of message application servers in the vmdom voicemail domain (80045112). Unable to connect to voice sever of required version. Please try again later.

any ideas?

No i do not it sounds like the domain may not be setup right or the priv lan is not talking at all. Are you getting any errors in the admin log of the MSS
