Error message when running my reports

Exception in formula '{@Record_Selection}' at '{TABLE.FIELD}': This field name is not known

Crystal XI (11.0.0.1282); Oracle 10g; running a Java web application and I don't know what other information I should provide. (I'm still learning all this.) My report runs in my SQL application without a problem. I've gone through the record selection and I'm not seeing where or what the problem is. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
