We have created a MS Access database which holds infomation and worked well until today. All of a sudden I get a Microsess Office Access error message as follows:
********************************************************************************************************************
The expression On Click you entered as the event setting produced the following error:
* the expression may not result in the name of a macro, the name of a user-defined function, or [Event Procedure].
* There may have been an error evaluating the function, event, or macro.
********************************************************************************************************************
When this message comes up, no buttons work. We can navigate using the built-innavagitor buttons at the bottom of most Access Forms. The bottons that we put on such as FIRST, PREVIOUS, ADD, LAST, etc will not work. All searchs also will not work. We can add data into fields with the mouse movements.

However, when "it" is ready, everything will work normally as if nothing has happened. I've call up older versions of the file (forms, tables, etc.) and they work ok. Sometime, just closing the database and reopening it will cause it to work correctly for a few minutes.

the files was coverted and saved as 2003 from the beginning. I have been updateing and using it for over two months with no problems.

I've just tried to use the Performance Analyser. Is has found no problems and give this message:

*******************************************************************************************************************
The Performance Analyzer has no suggestions to imporve the objects you selected.
*******************************************************************************************************************
I don't know if this is the problem analyzer that Access use to have. Is there another built-in problem solver? If so, how do I get to it. I am using version 7.

I must make a presentation soon and any suggestions that you have will be appreciated. I woould hate to be showing potential users the program and it stops working. This did not happen until today. I am thinking that I have done something wrong but don't how to find the problem.

Thanks for your help.
