I'm new to e*Gate Integrator. I have version 4.5.3.4707. I was trying to work through the tutorial and when I try to Compile and Save an ETD I get the following error message "Unable to set JVM classpath". I've tried looking for this message at the SeeBeyond Support webpage, with no luck. Can anyone help with this problem? Thanks!

Try to install a newer version of the JDK, with JDK 1.3.1_09 everything works fine (with JDK 1.3.1_01 I had the same error message). Don't forget to copy the new tools.jar at the appropriate place.

ken

when u try to compile & save ur ETD bear the following points in mind ---

check whether at the time of installation u have installed JDK 1.3/1.4 in the correct path...depends if u r going to use egate as client or server(for eg- like
"d:\egate\client\bin\*.jar""

and when u compile the ETD make sure that u convert the same in to a schema

try this and keep me posted!!!

cheers
