Outlook, under Win XP Pro - When an email has a URL, clicking on the URL should open the appropriate page in the browser (IE). Instead, a message now comes up, "The operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator."
Used to work fine, until recently.
What needs to be reset to fix this?

Try this MS KB article.

Let me know if this fixes your problem.

The most likely way for the world to be destroyed, most experts agree, is by accident. That's where we come in; we're computer professionals. We cause accidents.-Nathaniel Borenstein

Fantastic! Now why didn't that appear in the Outlook 2003 Help file? I use SlimBrowser and somehow this setting did get all fowled up. I just told slimBrowser to reset the web page and now Outlook worked.

I really appreaciate your answer and this website. It has helped me so many times over the years.
