error message - "cant find shared resource pool.." 1

I am adding a shared resource pool to a mpp. the resource pool is located on my desktop. When i email the project they are unable to share the resource file. Error: "Cannot find shared resource pool, C:\ ....resource pool.mpp".

I am sure there is a simple way to detach it from my directory, not sure how.

Your answer is in your question:

"C:\ ....resource pool.mpp".

"C:\" is your computer's hard drive. You have to put the shared resource pool on a LAN drive where everyone can "see" it. You'll have to change your project so that it points to the new location.
