Error message "Access violation at address..."

i encountered this message box in my program, "Access violation at address 40011961 in module 'VCL50.BPL'.Read of address 00000000."
My program is basically a form that allows users to book a time slot at certain day. when i click the submit button on the client form, the above message box appears at the server form.Thou my program can still function normally, can anyone tell me what could be the problem causing this error message box.
My operating system is Window NT4.0 Server.
