Error message on CTDEI

Has anybody come across an error when running a CTDEI command.
"Not accepted help device traced"

can you specify what sort of equ you want to trace (SYEDP, ...)?

The trace could be on any directory number.When the fault occurs it could active for a matter of minutes then its o.k.
I will try to capture with a trace on signal COMAC.

Try CTCOP instead, it will support more devices and replaces CTDEI. CTDEI is kept only for compatibility reasons.
