I have the following error messgae:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '8007000e'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access 97 Driver] Too many client tasks.

/nhrmc/getpub.asp, line 155

It seems to mean no more records can be returned. Is there a way to increase the number of records in ASP or Access?

Thanx for any help

I had the same problem using Access database and my Web server was PWS.When requesting for some asp pages there was the same error message but when deploying to IIS everything was OK.I didn't found what the reason was!

The error could be in the script timeout settings inside your PWS or IIS. If you are running off a local PC, and not a server, then it could be timing out on the script before it successfully pulls all the records.

One way to get around that might be to buffer the count. And then when the count in the buffer hits a certain number, flush the buffer to the web page, and loop the script. This would keep giving your client data, but it would also keep reseting the script timeout as you have actually reloaded part of the script.
