When I attempt to refresh my data I get the dialog box:
ODBC error: Canada][PVX OBDC Driver]Expected lexical element not found: <identifier>
I have re-installed Crystal Reports (ver. 7) and downloaded the latest Microsoft Data Access Components for OBDC.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Normally an ODBC error refers to your database connections. Checl from the control panel--> ODBC setup and make sure that your ODBC drivers are looking at the correct database

all: here's a follow-up
this crash was caused as a result of using "Seagate Analysis" (free download from Seagate) as a front end to Crystal Reports. Maybe it works well with the Stand-alone version of Crystal, but I certainly don't recommend using it with MAS OBDC drivers. Does anyone have a positive experience with Seagate Analysis?

Steve - thanks for your suggestion. The version of Crystal Reports that I am using came bundled with "MAS 90", the accounting software here. The OBDC drivers to hook CR with MAS 90 are not part of "Standard" CR, and are supplied by MAS 90.
