when i do inventory i received the following error:

But do you get this error message for one volume only ?

I'm using legato networker 7.4 sp3 with 4 tapes: 2 NDMP 2 regular tapes with scalar i2000
i got this message for all my volumes.

Hi Lior

Sounds like this is hardware related. Have you tried to clean one of the drives to see if the behaviour is the same on all of them ?

Next to this I would check cabling/termination...

Please try to use the command line instead of the GUI to inventarise the volumes i.e

nsrjb -I -vvv -S <slot range) -f |device>

This should produce a bit more detailed output
