Error Message in Management Console when running report

I am attempting to run some reports on the crystal enterprise server through the standard SAP interface. I have a crystal 2008 report set to run to an email address. It has no parameters and I chose .pdf as the chosen output. For recurrence I chose Now.

I ran two different reports. For the first report I got the following error message:
Information is needed before this report can be processed

For the second report I get this error message:
Error in File ~tmp15985e1904da3e0.rpt: Unable to connect: incorrect log on parameters. Details: [Database Vendor Code: 18456 ]

Im thinking this is a report issue not a management console issue. Am I missing some preparation step on the report side that is causing the report to bomb?

Hi,
That message usually means that the user/pass combination is not correct for the database or the jobserver does not have access rights to the datasouce location - Have you either saved that information with the published report or
pass it with through the interface?

What database is involved?

When you say saved the information with the published report do you mean that the saved data with report on the crystal side is checked? Also the database is SQL Server 2005

Hi,
No..I mean the username/password/database combination.


They can be set when publishing or they can be entered/changed in the database properties page of the report in the CMC after it is published.
