Quick question, I'm getting an error message "Out of Memory Line:90" in Internet Explorer running on a Windows XP PC. The message appears when explorer is launched and simply dissapears never to return when the OK button it presents is clicked.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'm wondering also if it is indicative of a more fundamental problem with memory allocation or physical modules???

Cheers

Open the task manager, click on the Processes tab, see if multiple copies of iexplore.exe are running. If so, terminate them by selecting them one at a time and clicking on 'End Process', then retry Internet Explorer.

Thanks for the replies!

Dian: yes, the machine is connected through AOL.

BillyRayPreachersSon - thanks, this post is exactly the sort of narrative I'm after!

BFOJ: will look at this.

Thank you all for your help, hope I can return the favour at some point in the future!

I asked that because my suggestion was about to be the same Billy provided.

Cheers,
