Error message from the server event log...

I am new to cgi and I get an error from our server event log:

The script started from the URL '/cgi/promo1.pl' with parameters " has not responded within the configured timeout period. The HTTP server is terminating the script.

The same error messages are given for promo2.pl and promo3.pl.

(Maybe the server "time out period" is shorter than the time it takes for the page to load?)

can anyone help me?

This may be a clue... 'The script started from the URL '/cgi/promo1.pl' may indicate that the URL is incomplete. Try changing the calling references to '

http://www.yoursite.com/cgi/promo1.pl'

.

I can't say for certain that htis is the case but it's worth a try! There's always a better way...
