**Error Message for Cross Tab** 1

I have a report that has two subreports inside it. Inside each subreport is a crosstab that looks at the the last 14 days of data. The crosstabs runs fine within each subreport, but when you try to run the whole report together I get "Error formatting Cross-Tab Object."

Can anyone help me here??? Thanks.

In what sections of the main report are the subs located? Do the crosstabs create virtual pages when run alone? The main report will not create virtual pages to accommodate the crosstabs. You might want to create one crosstab in the main report (if they have the same number of columns) to force the virtual pages.

The two subreports are in PFa and PFb of the main report. Inside the subreports, the crosstabs are in the report footer. By virtual pages do you mean that it runs over into another page (horizontally)? I thought about that when I was creating them and I formatted them to make sure they wont go over. I will try putting the first crosstab in the main report also.

The problem is more likely to be your placement in a page footer. There are limits to the height of a page footer, and the crosstabs would have to fit on one page or you would get an error. Why were you using the page footer?

I didnt have to place them in the RF. I moved them up to the PH and everything worked great. Thanks lbass!!
