This is the exact message
There was an error writing to LPT1: for the printer (HP Deskjet 720c series) the parameter is incorrect

The printer has been working up to this point. I deleted and reinstalled the printer, checked cables (pulled them out and plug them all back in) and I printed a test page when the printer was unplugged from the computer.

Thank you in advance.

You may have a bad cable, or you may have installed software that interferes with it. Did you perhaps install a parallel port scanner, or a parallel port zip drive? These kind of devices have software that almost always interferes with printers on the same port.

Thank you for helping. I found out the problem was when I some new software it changed my printer port to something other than it was supposed be therefore, I had to reinstall my printer port.
