I have a Dell Poweredge 2850 server. while installing SUSE linux 10 sp2 to the server during the update of the patches I receive an error message telling me it cannot access installation media. If I click ok it seems to find the files this time. After the server is up an running will all the patches. can ping the servers with no problems. Then I start the OSE2 install for Edirectory I get the same error this time it cannot find the media. If I click ok It still will not find the files,if I skip the file it will continue on till it fails again. Is there a work around for this or should I finnish the install to add the server to the tree.
I have not seen this problem before till last week.

When you do the OES install, it needs stuff off of the SLES disk. What usually happens is that your source is set to point to the CD, so when you have the OES disk in, it can't find the SLES disk.

What I like to do once I have SLES installed... Remove the CD source, copy the .ISO's for both SLES and OES to the server, and set them up as sources. This way you never have to worry about swapping disks and the sources are there whenever they need it.

Will this work with a large enough USB flash memory stick?
